## AI usage and bring-your-own-key

Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance, metered in estimated US dollars of provider cost, covering Claude-, OpenAI-, and Gemini-powered features including AI image generation.

Adding your own provider API key (BYOK) removes the allowance ceiling, gives model choice, and unlocks AI video generation. Keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, are never shared, and can be removed at any time.

## Billing terms

- Payment processor: Stripe
- Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Upgrades: take effect immediately, prorated for the remainder of the cycle
- Downgrades: take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
- Quotas: reset each billing cycle and do not roll over
- Cancellation: any time; the plan stays active to the end of the paid cycle
- After cancellation: the account reverts to Free and stored clips remain downloadable for 90 days
- Setup fees, per-clip charges, overage fees: none
- Student and nonprofit discount: 30% on Creator and Pro, with proof of eligibility
